NOVAİ AGROFOS is a phosphate mining company affiliated with Sarıkoç Holding. The groundbreaking ceremony of the relevant company was held on 02.04.2024. The relevant company is located in an area of 10 hectares. In the first stage, the investment is planned to be 15 million dollars, and the second stage is planned to be 35 million dollars. The first phase will end in July 2024 and the factory will begin operations. The surface area of the Novai Agrofos mining area is 1218 hectares. After the operations from run-out ores; These are the cleaning, washing and grinding stages. An area is built where the phosphate is purified and industrially ground phosphate rock is obtained. It is estimated that the annual production in the first stage will be 180,000 tons.
In the second and third stages, the product obtained from phosphate rock to be used in the agricultural field will be obtained as materials to be used in fertilization in the agricultural field.
Phosphate rock is also used in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. The phosphate rock to be produced will have P205 values between 18% and 28%.
